The embedded development of social work in juvenile justice field
【Abstract】This paper adopts the qualitative research method to study the development process of the embeddedness of social work in the juvenile justice field in B City. We find that the idea embeddedness, service embeddedness and institutional construction are the action logic of the development in juvenile justice work. The idea embeddedness is the basis and prerequisite of service embeddedness and institutional construction. The service embeddedness is the core content of embedded action. The institutional construction is the important guarantee for the stable and sustainable development of embedded action. Regarding the embedded development process of social work in the juvenile justice field, it is not the one-way embeddedness, but the result of mutual construction. Regarding the effective cooperation between social work and juvenile justice departments, it could help the juvenile delinquents return to the society smoothly on the one hand, and promote the scientific and humanistic development of juvenile justice work on the other hand.
