Effect of service temperature on static failure of BFRP/aluminum alloy adhesive joints

【Abstract】In order to predict the static failure of BFRP/aluminum alloy adhesive joints under service temperature in the process of lightweight design of vehicles, we manufactured the adhesive joints under three different stress states, including tensile stress state, shear stress state, and combined tension–shear stress state. According to the characteristics of vehicle service temperature, five temperature measuring points of −40 °C, −10 °C, 20 °C, 50 °C, and 80 °C were selected. The change rules of failure strength of adhesive joints with service temperature
